A herbal product derived from the berries of the saw palmetto plant that guards against prostrate problems and provides relief for lower urinary tract symptoms associated with prostate enlargement.
Many men develop prostate problems towards middle age so a preventative supplement is an important part of health maintenance. Symptoms of prostrate problems can be very uncomfortable.
Statistics show that by the age of 60, 50% of men will develop Benign Prostate Hypertrophy or prostate enlargement. By age 85, there is a 90% probability and cancer of the prostrate happens to one in six men during their lifetime. The main function of the prostrate is to store and secrete a fluid that consists of up to a third of semen. When there are problems with the prostrate you may experience: feeling as though your bladder isn’t completely empty after urination; needing to urinate consistently; weak urine flow, a need to urinate frequently and a burning sensation; lower back pain and, or pain during ejaculation; a lessened ability to hold an erection and dissatisfaction during sex. The active ingredient is the extract of saw palmetto fruit (sabal serrulata). Each 480 mg capsule contains 320mg of saw palmetto berries in a gelatine capsule.
