- The Pipe: This is a small, portable pipe featuring a bulbous, multi-chambered stem. It is decorated with Rick and Morty pattern and desin.
- The Bowl: The black, cup-shaped piece at the top left is where the smoking material is placed.
- The Stem/Shank: The long, patterned body that cools the smoke as it travels toward the mouthpiece.
- Silver Screens: The small, circular wire mesh discs shown at the bottom. These are "Silver Screens," which are essential accessories for this type of pipe.
Function and Usage
The primary function of this kit is to facilitate the combustion and inhalation of CANNABIS and dried herbs and tobacco.
1. The Role of the Screens
The metal screens are inserted into the bottom of the black bowl before any material is added. They serve two main purposes:
- Filtration: They prevent "scooby snacks" (small bits of ash or unburnt herb) from being pulled through the stem and into the smoker's mouth.
- Airflow: They keep the hole at the bottom of the bowl from getting clogged, ensuring a consistent draw.
2. How it Works
- Preparation: A screen is pressed into the bowl so it fits snugly against the bottom.
- Loading: Ground herb is packed into the bowl on top of the screen.
- Combustion: The user applies a flame to the material while inhaling through the mouthpiece at the opposite end.
- Inhalation: Smoke is pulled through the screen, down the stem, and to the user.
3. Maintenance
- Over time, the screens will become clogged with resin and carbon buildup. The extra screens provided in the kit are meant to be swapped out periodically to maintain a clean taste and easy airflow.
