The Hammond 1553AGY handheld enclosure is ergonomically designed for comfort and durability. Molded in general-purpose ABS plastic with a soft grey overmolded side grip, it provides a secure hold for handheld electronic devices.
Its recessed top cover allows easy integration of membrane displays or keypads, while the molded-in PCB standoffs support secure circuit board mounting. A removable front panel simplifies customization, and assembly hardware is included (except in the smallest 1553A models).
This series offers a choice of sizes, colors, and versions with or without a battery door and compartment. Battery door models include clips for two AA batteries and one 9V (PP3) battery.
