The 1590BBFL Multipurpose Enclosure is a rugged and compact diecast aluminium housing designed for industrial, electronic, and instrumentation applications requiring reliable protection and easy mounting. With external flanges for secure surface mounting, this enclosure is ideal for installations where stability and access are key.
Measuring 119 × 94 × 34 mm (4.7" × 3.7" × 1.34"), the enclosure is constructed from high-strength diecast aluminium alloy, offering superior durability and excellent EMI/RFI shielding. The lap joint construction helps protect against dust and water splashes, conforming to IP54 standards. For watertight applications, an optional gasket (supplied loose) allows upgrade to IP65 protection.
This unpainted version features a vibra-finished natural aluminium surface for smooth edges and machining ease. Internal low-draft sidewalls ( 2 ) make PCB installation quick and secure, while factory-tapped screw holes and included screws ensure a clean and professional assembly.
