The 1590C is a rugged multipurpose enclosure made from high-quality diecast aluminum alloy, designed for electronic instruments and project boards. Its durable construction provides excellent protection while remaining easy to machine for custom modifications.The enclosure features a lap joint design that improves EMI/RFI shielding and protects against dust and splashing water. The unpainted version is vibra finished for a smooth, safe surface without sharp edges. Textured black versions are coated with polyester powder paint for a lasting, professional finish.With a low side wall draft angle ( 2 ), the enclosure allows for easy PC board mounting. Standard versions meet IP54, while watertight versions with a gasket can achieve IP65 protection. Screws are included and threaded into factory-tapped holes for simple assembly.
