The 1590LB Diecast Aluminium Multipurpose Enclosure is a compact, rugged housing solution designed for electronic instruments and small-scale projects. Built from tough diecast aluminium alloy, it provides excellent mechanical strength while being easy to machine for modifications.Its lap joint construction improves resistance against dust and splashing water, while also enhancing EMI/RFI shielding. The enclosure features a smooth vibra finish with no sharp edges, and optional coated versions are available for long-lasting durability.Designed to meet IP54 protection standards, this enclosure can also be upgraded to IP65 watertight rating when fitted with the optional gasket (supplied separately). Factory-tapped screw holes and a low draft angle make it simple to assemble and mount PCBs securely.
