The 1591XXGSBK is a general-purpose ABS enclosure ideal for housing small to medium-sized electronic circuits. With dimensions of 121 x 94 x 30 mm, it provides a versatile solution for securely mounting printed circuit boards in a clean, professional housing.
This enclosure is designed with a strong tongue-and-groove lid-to-base construction, offering IP54-rated protection against dust and splashing water, making it suitable for indoor and light-duty outdoor applications.
Both the lid and base are molded from UL94-V0 flame-retardant ABS plastic and feature pre-molded PCB standoffs for efficient and secure PCB mounting. The smooth internal walls (excluding the 1591XXF variant) allow for easy connector installation.
The enclosure is finished in a satin-texture black and includes M3 x 10 mm Phillips machine screws threaded into integral brass bushings, ensuring durability for applications requiring frequent access. Black enclosures are supplied with black screws for a uniform appearance.
