The MDG round duct silencers are designed to reduce noise levels in round ventilation ducts by absorbing turbulent airflow and aerodynamic noise. The housing is manufactured from durable galvanized steel, while a special fire-resistant fiber is used as the sound-absorbing material to ensure safe and effective operation.
Each silencer is equipped with connecting flanges for quick and easy installation. For maximum noise reduction the silencer should be installed as close to the noise source as possible, typically right after the fan. MDG duct silencers are intended for use in general ventilation systems handling clean, non-explosive air free of sticky particles, with operating temperatures not exceeding 80 C
