Your Dell Reads the Full 130W. Not 90W.
Please Read Before Ordering
The Astrum CL770 is designed for Dell laptops that charge via USB-C Power Delivery. Many Dell models still use a traditional round barrel connector-if yours does, this is not the correct charger. Please check your existing charger before ordering.
If your Dell supports USB-C charging, the CL770 delivers a key advantage over generic USB-C chargers. Many standard USB-C chargers are recognised by Dell laptops at a lower power rating, resulting in startup warnings and reduced system performance. The CL770 features a dedicated IC designed for Dell's power adapter detection, allowing compatible laptops to recognise the full 130W output and operate at full performance while charging.
No Warning. No Throttling. Full Speed.
Compatible Dell laptops recognise the CL770 as a full-power charger, eliminating "power adapter type cannot be determined" warnings during startup. This allows the CPU and GPU to operate without unnecessary power restrictions while maintaining charging performance under load, just like the original Dell charger.
130W USB-C Power Delivery
An intelligent Smart IC automatically negotiates the correct charging profile for every connected device. It supports output profiles from 5V for smartphones up to 20V at 6.5A for compatible Dell laptops. Because 20V at 6.5A exceeds the standard 100W USB-C Power Delivery limit, Dell-specific power negotiation is required to achieve the full 130W output.
Permanently Attached USB-C Cable
The integrated USB-C cable is permanently attached and rated for the charger's full output. There is no separate charging cable to purchase, replace, or accidentally leave behind, while also eliminating the risk of using an under-rated USB-C cable that limits charging performance.
Protected. And Built to Be.
An intelligent protection IC continuously safeguards connected devices against Over-Voltage Protection (OVP), Over-Current Protection (OCP), and Short-Circuit Protection (SCP). The charger is housed in a flame-retardant V-0 grade enclosure for added safety.
Works Beyond Dell
Although optimised for Dell USB-C laptops, the CL770 also supports USB-C Power Delivery charging for compatible MacBook, HP, Lenovo, and ASUS laptops, as well as tablets and smartphones. Non-Dell devices negotiate their own supported USB-C PD charging profile automatically. The universal 110-240V AC input also makes the charger suitable for international travel.
