ASUS RT-BE50 is a BE3600 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7 wireless router for users who need dual-band wireless access, wired device connections and expandable AiMesh coverage. It supports up to 2882 Mbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, with four fixed external antennas, 2x2 transmission on both bands, OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 4096-QAM, beamforming and up to 160 MHz channel bandwidth. The estimated reach is approximately 180 to 200 m under ideal open-space conditions, while thick concrete walls, brickwork and multi-floor layouts can reduce 5 GHz performance. AiMesh support allows expansion with another compatible ASUS router. Wired backhaul uses the 1G LAN ports and is limited to 1 Gbps in the stated configuration because the 2.5G port is designated for WAN. Wireless backhaul shares the 5 GHz band with connected devices, which can reduce available local Wi-Fi throughput. ASUSWRT and the ASUS Router App provide setup, guest networking, parental controls, traffic management, VPN and security administration.

HOW TO USE

Connect the supplied power adapter and switch on the router. Connect the modem or internet source to the 2.5G WAN port, then connect a computer through a LAN port or join the default wireless network. Open the ASUS Router App or ASUSWRT in a web browser and complete Quick Internet Setup, including the internet connection, network names, security keys and router login password.
