The wine was crafted from highly prized vineyards in the Helderberg area of Stellenbosch, specially chosen for their exceptional quality expression of the varietal. Granitic soils and cooling Atlantic winds delivered grapes with the elegance and finesse expected from a premium Chardonnay.
A pale straw hue introduces aromas of stone fruit, citrus, tropical notes, and subtle oak spice. The palate is fresh yet complex, with nectarine, pear, and lemon zest, balanced by a creamy texture from partial malolactic fermentation and French oak aging. Layers of oak spice and lemon-pie crust add depth to this classic Chardonnay.
