Ancient Tree Black tea is made from tea leaves of trees that can be dated back several hundred years. These majestic trees are mainly grown in the Yun Nan province but may also be found in other provinces such as Fu Jian. Gu Shu black tea is considered one of the finest black teas. This tea embodies a unique and complex flavour profile.
Typically harvested in spring and undergoes traditional tea processing resulting in a brew that offers rich malty flavours with notes of honey and caramel. The colour of the brew is a bright reddish-brown that can deepen with brewing time.
