The BMT RFP602 5Kg Thin Film Force Sensitive Resistor (FSR) is a compact, ultra-thin, and highly responsive pressure sensing component designed to detect force, pressure, touch, and weight with high reliability. Built using advanced conductive thin-film technology, this sensor changes its resistance proportionally to the applied force, allowing precise detection of both static and dynamic pressure.
When pressure is applied to the 10mm circular sensing area, the internal resistance of the sensor decreases in relation to the force applied. This resistance change can be easily measured using analog circuits or microcontroller ADC inputs, making it ideal for Arduino, Raspberry Pi, PLC systems, robotics, and embedded electronics projects.
With a maximum pressure rating of 5Kg, ultra-slim 0.2mm thickness, and flexible PE insulating substrate, the RFP602 sensor is perfectly suited for applications where space, weight, and flexibility are critical. Its compact 39mm total length and simple 2-pin interface make integration fast and effortless in both prototyping and production environments.
This sensor is optimized for force detection and relative pressure measurement, rather than high-precision calibrated load measurement, making it ideal for interaction sensing, automation control, and experimental measurement systems.
