Our ANNESE Preservative is a broad-spectrum, paraben-free solution composed of Benzyl Alcohol and Dehydroacetic Acid which are both organic compounds accepted for use in natural cosmetics. This composition is similar to that of Geogard 221 and it is often used as a replacement. It is suitable for both leave-on and rinse-off products for skin, hair and baby care.
