American festive family drama. Sergeant Major John Frost (Aiden Turner) returns home early for Christmas to discover his wife, Jill (Toni Hudson), and son, Jimmy (Walker Mintz), have adopted a dog named Charlie (voice of Mira Silverman). Struggling with PTSD, John believes he may have finally found purpose in his life when he starts a project to build houses for homeless veterans.
