A clutch fork is a lever in a vehicle's manual transmission that acts as an intermediary, converting the force from the clutch pedal to the release bearing. When you press the clutch pedal, this lever pivots to push the release bearing against the clutch's pressure plate, disengaging the engine's power from the transmission. When you release the pedal, the fork moves back, allowing the pressure plate to re-engage the clutch disc and restore the connection to the engine.
