The transmitter and receiver has been paired at manufacturing facility. No synch required once your cooking meat thermometer is received. As well as offering different cooking temperatures for 8 different types of meat, this food cooking thermometer is also programmed with five USDA approved doneness levels that make it easy for you to cook your meat to these preferences, and all of the preset temps can be reset to suit your personal taste.

5.AUTO-OFF & ENERGY SAVING:
The transmitter will auto-off after 10 minutes if there is no probe plugged in and will auto-off after 30 minutes if there is no operation. The receiver will auto-off after 10 minutes if the probe is not on working condition.
