A strong statement ring with clean modern lines, this ring is handcrafted out of solid sterling silver.
The natural unheated Ametrine is a large oval checkerboard faceted 16,6 carat solitaire. It displays the classic hue of the ametrine, predominantly purple as you expect of an amethyst, with very subtle hints of yellow from the citrine. It has been deeply bezel set into a frame of solid sterling silver (8 mm) that has been finished at the edge with gold gild. The shoulders are 10 mm broad on each side and set with round-cut Rhodolite Garnets.
The jeweller has added a tactile indentation into the shoulder. The ring weighs 11,8 grams, is size 7/quarter (O/half in British and SA sizing). The ring head measures 18 mm x 15 mm and is 9 mm high from the finger level to the top of the ametrine tabletop.
