How to ensure an infant sleeps safely:
- Sleep baby on a firm and flat surface on their back
- No pillows, soft toys or blankets within the sleeping space
- Swaddle should always be fitted around the neck so that the head cannot slip within the neck hole
- Hips and legs should have natural movement and not be tight
- Once baby is showing signs of rollinhg, transition to arms out sleeping
