The low-profile design makes it easier for baristas to tamp with a straight arm at 90 degrees to the counter. Evenly redistributes the grounds and provides a larger flat surface for the barista to apply even tamp pressure with the palm of their hand, helping with control and consistency.
The height is adjustable with its screw mechanism (no grub screws, shims, or hex keys required) to accommodate different doses or baskets, and you can set the desired tamp depth for consistent tamp pressure every time.
