It is lightweight and can be easily stored away for travel. Sony's adapter offers constant power for long video shoots or while transferring footage to a PC. The adapter is also capable of charging batteries that are connected to your camera. It is only compatible with Handycam camcorders that accept A, P, and F-series InfoLITHIUM batteries.
