The SIM8055-6-1-14-00-A is a Nano SIM connector with innovative card detection switch. It features a normally open card detect (CD) C7 mechanism shares the space with contact 5 (C5). The circuit is closed once a nano SIM card is inserted. It comes with a locating peg as standard for PCB stability, and is packaged in a tape and reel format, enabling easy pick and place assembly. It offers one of the smallest footprints available on the market with card detect functionality (12.2mm length and 9.54mm width).
