This telephone is probably the most popular amplified cordless telephone on the market in South Africa. IT conforms to all the South African standards. It is most suitable for those with mild hearing loss. (The similar 595 series is for severe hearing loss.) In this pack there are three telephones. Ons is the charging base with the answering machine and then there are two other handsets, each with their own charging bases but they do not need a line connection as they communicate wirelessly with the first base. They will be paired already with the base and it means that they are all ready to go. It means that you can have one telephone in the study or kitchen and then the others in two different bedrooms or wherever you need them without the need to have a telephone plug for them. This is an ideal solution to combine with TELKOM’s offer of a router that is connected via LTE or fibre but it offers a standard telephone plug where you can plug in the base unit. This is the solution to have a standard telephone without using copper wires because TELKOM is phasing out the copper wires.
