Important to note:
- The GTL must be connected to an earth protected system.
- The appliance is to be powered through a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA.
- The quartz sleeve housing the GTL is extremely fragile and can shatter easily. It is important to minimise handling as much as possible.
- The GTL Tank Lamp emits UV radiation which destroys bacteria in close proximity. Depending on the source of the water, treated water may not be fit for human or animal consumption since there may still be dissolved solids present in the water.
