This variety of tea is characterised by its larger and heavier leaves. It is a semi-oxidised tea where the oxidation process allows for the best flavour development. The oxidation process transforms the brighter green colour of the tea leaf into a darker deep green. The steeped tea presents with a golden colour and a lasting elegant floral aroma. This tea is buttery and velvety on the palate.
