Prepare your fabrics for a complete color transformation with Guarany Tiracor Fabric Color Remover. Designed to safely strip or lighten existing dye from fabrics, this treatment is the essential first step if you want to dye a dark garment a lighter color, remove dye stains, or create a blank canvas for a brand new look.
It effectively removes color from natural and cellulose-based fibers such as cotton, linen, jute, ramie, and viscose.
A single 40g tube treats approximately 300g of dry fabric.
Note: The final result depends on the original dye used on the garment; some commercial dyes are colorfast and may only lighten rather than strip completely.
Directions for Use:
Open the 40g container using the handle of a spoon and shake well before using.
Step 1: Dissolve the contents into 1 litre of boiling water.
Step 2: Pour this solution into a larger container with enough hot water to completely cover your fabric.
Step 3: Prepare the fabric by washing it first. Dip it into the bath while it is still wet, and stir constantly for 30 to 45 minutes in boiling water, or until the desired amount of color has been removed.
Step 4: Remove the fabric from the bath and wash it thoroughly with soap and water to remove all traces of the color remover before re-dyeing. Let it dry in the shade.
