Matcha itself is a finely ground powder made from shade-dried green tea leaves (Camellia sinensis). It is particularly rich in antioxidants. This kit gives you everything you need to enjoy your own Matcha drinks - simply whisk your Matcha powder with hot water until frothy. It's dark colours, matt finish and interesting shape, lend a modern, edgy appeal to a classical and traditional tea-making craft. The bowl and the whisk stand are crafted out of ceramic and hand-finished. The colour is dark brown, with a hint of subtle metallic accent hand-worked into the finish. The whisk and the spoon ladle are made out of bamboo.
