The Hantek HT25 Auto-ignition test Probe is an inductive capacitance sensor that connects to any Automotive Oscilloscope with a BNC connector. It is used to test the spark ignition secondary overlapping wave and overlapping wave parameters to detect and diagnose the ignition state of the engine. Change in the firing voltage of the cylinder over time is visually displayed on the oscilloscope.
The high-voltage line cable ends in 2 clips, a ground clip and a pick-up clip for the high-voltage line. The pickup clip is an attenuator that attenuates the picked high voltage to a low voltage, thus protecting the oscilloscope from electrical shock.
When used please note:
In order to prevent causing a shock do not clip the HT25 clips directly in spark plugs. They should rather be caught in the connection of the spark plugs of insulation wire.
To avoid interference, distance other high-voltage at least 5cm apart.
