Imphepho Grown, Harvested & Bundled by Hand
The Imphepho used in these wands isn't simply bought in bulk and bundled for resale.
It is cultivated and personally harvested on a family farm in the Cape Agulhas region, where a small patch of Imphepho is being consciously nurtured and encouraged to thrive naturally.
Several times a year, we travel to the farm as a family, to spend time on the land, hand-pick the Imphepho and care for the area around it. The trips have become about much more than harvesting - they are time spent reconnecting with nature, tending a small beehive, slowing down and grounding ourselves.
By harvesting thoughtfully rather than stripping the plants, the intention is to encourage continued growth within the patch while maintaining a respectful relationship with the land.
The harvested Imphepho is then carefully dried and hand-bundled into each wand.
Hand-Cast Cement Bowl
The bowl is also made by hand.
Each smudge bowl is individually cast using cement, giving every piece its own subtle variations in texture, shape and finish. The weight and solid construction make it a beautiful grounding piece for your ritual or meditation space while complementing the natural character of the Imphepho wand.
Because each bowl is handmade, no two pieces will be exactly alike - small imperfections and variations are part of what makes each one unique.
