Green tea is a type of tea made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis
plant. Unlike black tea, green tea leaves are minimally processed, which
helps retain their natural green color and beneficial compounds. Rich in
antioxidants, particularly catechins, green tea is known for its potential
health benefits, including boosting metabolism, supporting heart health, and
providing a calming effect due to the presence of L-theanine. It has a light,

fresh flavor and can be enjoyed hot or cold.
