In 2008, frustrated by the lack of quality in children's activity equipment for their own children, Shaine and Sarah McAlister designed and manufactured their very first original sandpit. Drainage is probably the most important feature of any sandpit. Proper drainage prevents the build-up of stagnant water which can lead to ringworm and other forms of algae or bacteria. The cloth is both robust and porous. It separates the garden soil from your clean sand thereby preventing weeds and roots/grass from growing into the sand in your sandpit. At the same time, it provides suitable drainage to prevent the spread of germs.
