OUR HONEY
Our boutique apiary is remotely sited in the West Coast where free-roaming bees produce HoniB's organic honey which is carefully gathered by our beekeeper. With over 100 years of knowledge passed down and a deep passion for bees, our farming is ethical and organic.

OUR BEES
The hard-working bees roam freely across the landscape of the Western Cape, naturally pollinating the wildblossoms of the region which is predominately fynbos. These bees produce honey which varies in colour and taste as the flora and fauna change with each season making our Wildblossom honey unique in that it is dark in colour, rich in nutrients and delectable in taste

WHY ORGANIC HONEY
- Our bees are free roaming allowing them to pollinate according to nature's course
- Our bees are not medicated with antibiotics (or any products)
- We do not feed our bees
- Our product is free from artificial additives and preservatives
- There are no agriculturally farmed crops in the area eliminating collection of inferior nutritional properties
- No pesticides are sprayed
- The farm is badger-friendly
- Our honey is not filtered with harmful light, we rather use a special cloth to capture particles

Depending on the flowering seasons the honey ranges in taste and colour (sometimes lighter gold sometime darker gold) - it all depends on what flowers are in season and what the bees are most attracted to but typically the honey is Wild Blossom Honey. Crystallization is also a natural process.
