Rose petal powder is anti-inflammatory and is rich in anti-oxidant and anti-bacterial compounds as well as vitamin C. It soothes the scalp and skin and stimulates collagen production. It increases blood flow to hair follicles, encouraging hair growth, making hair stronger and reducing hair fall. It hydrates the hair making it look smoother, and shinier and giving it more volume as well as giving relief from dry, itchy scalps and skin. Hibiscus petals contain Alpha-Hydroxy Acids (AHA), Vitamin C and several organic acids that aid in skin, scalp and hair restoration. Hibiscus powder is also known as the 'botox' plant and is a must for natural beauty treatments! Hibiscus stimulates dormant hair follicles and kickstarts new hair growth. Amla strengthens hair follicles and encourages hair growth for thicker more lustrous hair. It firms and tones the skin, helps to shrink enlarged pores and helps to restore skin firmness by stimulating collagen production.
Multani mitti consists mainly of clay minerals such as kaolinite, bentonite and attapulgite. The powder is an effective skin cleanser, attracting and removing dirt, oil and other impurities from the skin and also helping to treat acne and other skin problems. It leaves skin clean, soft and supple. It balances oil production in the skin thus benefitting all skin types, boosts skin and scalp circulation, and removes blackheads, whiteheads and dead skin cells giving skin a healthy glow. It cleanses the scalp without disturbing the natural oils and helps to treat dandruff.
Directions for use:
Mix the powder with a cold-pressed plant oil (for example organic, extra-virgin coconut oil, olive oil, sweet almond oil) and/or filtered water to make a paste. Apply to your face and neck or hair and scalp. Or just do everything all at once! Cover your hair with cling wrap or a shower cap to prevent the mixture from drying out on your hair. Leave it on your hair for 30 minutes to 1 hour and on your face for 15-20 minutes. Wash and condition your hair and gently rinse and dry your face. Repeat weekly for best results.
