Born and raised in Limpopo Vleifontein (Venda), Ronewa Nthabalala known as "Newie" started singing while still at Sunday school under Apostolic Faith Mission Assembly (Vleifontein Venda Branch). During her musical journey, she had the opportunity to work with a well-known Limpopo gospel group Worship House, and among others Pile Gospel Choir and few local artists. She has also shared the stage with artists like We will Worship, Lebo Sekgobela, Putuma, Rofhiwa Manyaga, Takie "Psalmist" Ndou, Anointed Worship, Nomfusi, Tshifhiwa Mulovhedzi and many other local artists.
