2011 Is the 40th anniversary of Queen’s extraordinary career as a band.

Queen have one of the most exciting and influential back catalogues of all time. Theatrical, imaginative, diverse, melodic and unpredictable they had a sound and a look all of their own. All albums have been specially re-mastered and each has been released locally as a deluxe 2 disc set, which features new bonus content. Up to now the releases have been split into 2 groups: The first 5 Studio albums (1973-1976 ), Deep Cuts Vol. 1 as well as Greatest Hits I & II; and now The Platinum Edition (GHIII), the following 5 studio albums (1977-1982) and Deep Cuts Vol. 2.This release of Batch 2 includes the albums ‘News of the World’, ‘Jazz’, ’The Game’, ‘Flash Gordon’ and ‘Hot Space.’

Between 1977 and 1982 Queen officially became the most successful band in the world, releasing some of the biggest and best songs of all time including ‘Tie Your Mother Down’, ‘Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy’, ‘We Are The Champions’, ‘We Will Rock You’, ‘Fat Bottomed Girls’, ‘Bicycle Race’, ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’, ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’, ‘Save Me’, ‘Play The Game’, ‘Another One Bites The Dust’, ‘Flash’ and ‘Under Pressure’ featuring David Bowie.
