The inner bark of the Tecoma-Lapacho tree, harvested in South America, has been used for centuries to create a naturally soothing infusion. Known for its caramel and vanilla-like flavour, lapacho bark offers a smooth cup with low tannin and zero caffeine. Each sip reveals notes of warm earth and gentle sweetness that comfort the senses.
In this blend, crisp apple pieces bring a bright and fruity clarity, while cinnamon sticks lend a gentle warmth and spice. The combination accentuates the lapacho's natural creaminess, creating a delightful balance of orchard freshness and cozy spice. The result is an aromatic infusion that feels like apple pie by a fireside.
Beyond its captivating taste, lapacho bark is rich in antioxidants, helping to support the body's natural defences. Apple adds its own antioxidant profile along with fibre-supporting compounds, and cinnamon is celebrated for its warming properties and ability to promote healthy digestion. Together these ingredients form a well-rounded herbal infusion that nurtures both body and spirit.
Ideal for any time of day, especially when you seek comfort without caffeine, this tea can be enjoyed warm to embrace its soothing depth or lightly chilled for a gentle refreshment.
Serving suggestion:
We recommend brewing herbal infusion with water at around 100 degrees Celsius. Steep the herbs for approximately 3 minutes, then taste to see if the strength suits your preference. If you desire a stronger brew, you may steep it for another minute or two. Use a teapot with an infuser for best results. If a teapot is not available, an infuser ball, infuser cup, or a fine mesh strainer will also work well. For each serving, use about 3 to 4 grams of herbs, or roughly one teaspoon. This infusion may be steeped a second time; simply extend the brewing time to draw out the remaining flavour.
