Bear paw work is a must if you want to progress in boxing. It is done with a partner who indicates different targets to hit while moving (so the sequence is less mechanical than with the punching bag).
The goal is to learn certain combinations and thus gain precision and speed during your sparring work phases.
The combinations can vary infinitely, making the work motivating.
