Permatex High Temperature Thread Sealant - 6ml Tube

• Permatex High Temperature Thread Sealant is an OEM-specified medium-strength anaerobic paste formulated with PTFE specifically for tapered pipe threads and metal fittings. Engineered for extreme operating environments, it resists temperature cycling, vibration loosening, leakage, and common automotive fluids including gasoline, diesel, oil, hydraulic fluids, and glycol.
• Unlike traditional Teflon tape, this high-temperature formulation won't shred, wear, or clog fine fluid filters. It acts as a lubricant during assembly for smooth torque-down and allows up to 4 hours of post-application adjustment time before curing. Once fully cured, it seals up to pipe burst pressures (up to 10,000 PSI).
• Essential for sealing head bolts into water jackets, oil pressure sending units, fuel lines, rear axle plugs, and power steering fittings.
