History is a fabric woven of encounters, the fruit of all the stories
it comprises. Florens-Louis Heidsieck created his first vintage in
1785 for Agathe Perthois. The fruit of a love story, our House has
kept alive this memory for more than two centuries, combining
ambition with expertise, passion with the character of those who
founded the Piper-Hidsieck legend. As a result of these unions,
we build upon Henri-Guillaume Piper’s winemaking talents and
his wife’s surname, the audacity of the Marquis Suarez d’Aulan
and the passion of the Descours family.
