Sun protection
The roof fabric has UPF 30 sun protection.
Warning: be careful, a significant amount of UV can pass through a simple open door.
Ventilations
Three sides have an opening for better air circulation. Each of the openings is equipped with a mosquito net to prevent the entry of insects.
Wind resistance
We test all our stays in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform. The goal is to expose each side of our stay to the same wind intensity.
With a well-made assembly and the guy ropes deployed, this stay remains habitable with a wind force 6, measured at 50 km/h.
Waterproofing and sealed seams
We test our stays to validate their waterproofness. The first test is done in the laboratory for 3 hours under 200 liters of water per hour and per m , the equivalent of a tropical rain of 200 mm per hour. The second test is done in the field in real conditions by our teams. This stay is equipped with a 2000 mm polyurethane coated polyester roof. It also has seams sealed via heat-sealed strips and a 140 g/m polyethylene groundsheet.
Repair
As designers and practitioners who love our playground, we care about the resistance of our products. This is why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and repairs for inflatable arches are available at the workshop of your Decathlon store or on Decathlon.fr.
Hoops and stakes
Hoops - All our hoops are made of fiberglass and benefit from a double quality control. The latter guarantees you one of the best resistances to breakage.
Stakes - All our stakes are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.
Maintenance advice
Our camping trips have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) during your camping or nature trips. Continuous exposure to UV rays for several weeks can damage their textile part. These products do not fall into the "garden furniture" category and are not designed to remain outdoors permanently. To ensure an optimal lifespan for your camping trip, it is important to store it when not in use.
