The 232-040 is a 63mm thread-cutting Machine Tap made of DIN 371 ground high-speed steel (HSS) with a bright surface. The Machine tap with reinforced shank for through threads in unalloyed or low-alloyed steels up to 800N/mm² strength, malleable cast iron and non-ferrous metals.
Thread can be cut in one operation by hand or machine
