Two configurations, one ladder As a straight leaning ladder it extends to 5.6 m across two independent 2.8 m sections - 18 rungs in total - giving you an effective working height of approximately 6.3 m. Fold it into A-frame mode and it becomes a stable, self-supporting stepladder at 2.66 m, ideal for open spaces, ceilings, and jobs where there's no suitable leaning surface. The secure hinge lock holds firmly in both positions.
Trade-grade build, still portable Constructed from anodised 6063 aluminium with a 150 kg maximum load rating, the DLE3056 handles the demands of a working contractor without compromise. At 21.5 kg it's the most substantial ladder in the SCT range - but it collapses to just 48 × 101 × 10 cm, meaning it travels in a bakkie or van without a roof rack and stores flat against a workshop wall.
Safety you can verify EN 131 and SGS certified across both configurations. The built-in stabiliser bar reduces lateral sway at full extension, and the large anti-slip rubber feet grip on tile, concrete, and uneven outdoor surfaces whether the ladder is standing freely or leaning.
