The Sofirn SK1 1300 Lumen 479m Throw Rechargeable Tactical Flashlight with 18650 Battery is a compact, tactical-grade light designed for outdoor and emergency use, ideal for camping, self-defense, and field operations. For example, its 1300-lumen output can illuminate a target up to 479 meters, ensuring superior visibility. With built-in USB-C charging, a dual-switch interface, and a durable build, it offers practical functionality. Featuring a 1-year warranty, this Sofirn SK1 for Outdoor Use suits tactical users, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts.
Powerful Illumination for Outdoor Use
The Sofirn SK1 features a Luminus SFT-25R LED with a 6500K color temperature, delivering a maximum output of 1300 lumens with a beam throw of 479 meters, powered by an included 18650 Li-ion battery (3000mAh). It offers multiple modes, controlled by a two-stage tail switch and magnetic rotary switch, with the following lumen outputs and runtimes:
Turbo: 1300 lumens for approximately 1 minute 30 seconds (steps down after initial output)
High: 240 lumens for approximately 2 hours
Medium: 20 lumens for approximately 10 hours
Low: 2 lumens for approximately 200 hours
The flashlight charges via a built-in USB-C port, taking about 4-5 hours with a 5V charger, and includes a power indicator (red during charging, green when full). It has an IP68 waterproof rating, suitable for submersion up to 2 meters, and features an unregulated FET driver, though prolonged use on Turbo may generate heat, requiring careful handling. The increased throw to 479 meters reflects a tighter beam focus, reducing close-range spread and shortening Turbo runtime compared to a broader beam.
Durable and Compact Design
The Sofirn SK1 is constructed from AL6061-T6 aluminum alloy with a hard-anodized finish and a stainless steel bezel, offering durability and corrosion resistance for rugged outdoor conditions like camping or tactical use. It measures 129.7mm in length with a head diameter of 30mm, weighing 87g without the battery (approximately 117g with the included 18650 battery), making it suitable for pocket or belt carry. The flashlight features a dual-stage tail switch, a magnetic rotary switch, and a friction-fit pocket clip, though the clip may limit tailstanding stability.
Designed for Outdoor and Tactical Use
The Sofirn SK1 1300 Lumen 479m Throw Rechargeable Tactical Flashlight with 18650 Battery for Outdoor Use is tailored for tactical users, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts needing a reliable light for emergencies, self-defense, or field operations. For example, its 479m throw is ideal for long-distance illumination, while the 200-hour Moonlight mode ensures extended runtime for low-light tasks, though the dual-switch UI requires practice to cycle between Duty Mode, Tactical Mode, and Lock Mode (tail switch for on/off, rotary switch for mode selection), and the unregulated driver may lead to inconsistent output at lower voltages. The robust construction and IP68 rating enhance its reliability, but users should avoid direct eye exposure due to its intensity and rinse it with fresh water after use to maintain performance. The SK1's affordable price, included 18650 battery, and tactical design make it a practical choice for outdoor scenarios, offering a balance of power and convenience, though users should plan for heat management and charging logistics.

Use the included 18650 battery with proper polarity (positive terminal toward the head), and remove the insulating film before first use or charging. The IP68 rating supports submersion up to 2 meters but is not suitable for diving; avoid prolonged submersion. Handle with care during Turbo mode to avoid burns due to heat buildup, and do not shine the light directly into eyes due to its intensity. Store in a dry place to maintain reliability, and use a 5V charger (not included) for optimal charging.
