Sound deadening is used to reduce sound on enclosures or containers that house or are near loud machinery like compressors, cars or generators.
These sound deadening sheet can work in 2 ways. Either damping vibration on panels like car doors, footwells or inner arches. Vibration noise is dampened by the rubber-like sheet. Another product face the vibrating object like a car engine. In this application the sheet can be attached to the inner side of a bonnet to contain noise.
