Performance and power
At Subea, we have developed a "finning robot". This robot is a test bench that allows us to measure what the fin gives in terms of propulsion and what it requires in energy from the diver. We therefore deduce the efficiency of a fin.
We use this robot throughout the development of our products to correlate our sensations in use with a scientific measurement.
Each fin prototype is tested until we obtain the product that meets our expectations.

The SCD 500 fin foot pocket has been specially developed to fit very well on the foot and optimize the fin's hold on the foot. This allows you to never have the sensation of losing your fin and to transmit maximum energy to the blade of the fin.
Sail

The blade of the SCD 500 fin is surprisingly flexible but provides remarkable power whatever the conditions.
SUBEA has developed this blade to provide maximum thrust (fin power) while maintaining a flexible blade in order to provide maximum comfort when finning.
