100% Muscat d'Alexandrie
With flavours reminiscent of the Wilson toffee brand and predominant Muscat, the palate is as sweet and complementary as the bouquet with grapy flavours, raisins, honey.
Vinification:
The grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness. Fermentation is halted after 4 days and the wine fortified. The Hanepoot is kept in stainless steel tanks until blending and bottling.
Food Suggestions:
Drink chilled as an aperitif with canapes or pates as accompaniment to roast duck or pork as partner to a decadent dessert or ice cream and fresh summer fruit. Also serve with a selection of mild soft cheeses or as a digestive over crushed ice in a Martini glass.
