Our 5W 400 lumen LED light bulb is equipped with a SMD5730 chip and a1200mA rechargeable battery that allows the device to switch on automatically when there is a power outage.

These bulbs keep bright for 4 hours when there is a power outage. The light bulb has a built in sensor to determine the state of the switch and will automatically stay on if there is load shedding or a power outage and the light switch is in the ‘ON’ position. It has a 2200MA battery and when it is fully charged can burn brightly for upto 4 hours. It needs a 6 hour charging time to restore it to its full brightness.

Operating instructions:
1. The bulb can be used as a normal household bulb and once it is installed it can be turned on/off using the light switch
2. The internal Li-ion batterywill be charged whenever the light is set to ‘ON’.
3. During a power failure or loadshedding the bulb will operate as an emergency light and stay lit as long as the light switch is in the ‘ON’ mode.
