Basic, graphite coated nickel/ iron electrode for high strength repair and mainenance welding of spherical graphite (SG) iron, austenitic cast iron, meehanite & a wide range cast iron. Produces a soft stable arc with minimal penetration & spatter & is very tolerant to parent metal condiments such as oil and dirt. The ductile nickel/ iron weld deposit is readily machinable & has higher strength required for welding S.G irons. Where higher joint is important it can be used for root & fill passes followed by capping passes with Tradecast 100 for smoother surface finish.
