Usage instructions:
The maximum volumetric capacity for cooking is 3/4 of the total capacity of the item. Position the utensil handle facing the center of the stove. On stoves with grates, center the item over the flame or heat source and align the handle with the grate. Hot utensils should be kept out of the reach of children.
First use:
Before using for the first time, wash with a soft sponge and mild soap or liquid detergent. After drying, grease the inside with oil or fat and cook for one or two minutes. Let it cool and wash again. Your starflon utensil is now ready for use, either with or without fat, always on low or medium heat (never exceeding 220 c). When handling your heated utensil, be careful not to scratch the external coating. Avoid stains by not letting grease and food drip onto the outside of the item. If this occurs, it is recommended to clean the area immediately with a cloth dampened with water.
Care and maintenance:
To stir food, use only silicone, nylon, or wooden utensils. Over time, the handle may loosen due to the normal expansion of materials. Tighten it only enough, without forcing it.
Cleaning:
Avoid immersing the hot utensil in cold water. Never use abrasive products when washing. If you burn food, moisten the area and leave it until the residue can be removed with a sponge and soap. For greater durability, avoid using washing machines. To dispose of products and packaging, please follow current recycling guidelines.
