Gunpany Cleaning Kit for 4.5mm & 5.5mm Guns
The Gunpany Cleaning Kit 4.5mm & 5.5mm (SCCK-10) by Vectoptics is a versatile cleaning kit designed for both .177 & .22 calibre guns.
This 19 piece kit is packed in a durable ABS plastic case, making it convenient for storage and transport. It includes essential tools such as cleaning rods, a fitting handle, bronze brushes, cotton mops, a spring brush, a patch holder, a muzzle guard, jags, an oil bottle (empty), patches and an adaptor to keep your barrel in a clean and optimal condition.
The set comes with an empty oil bottle to fill with the gun oil of your choice.
The 4 cleaning rods can be screwed together up to a total lenght of 860mm, providing flexibility for different barrel lenghts. The kit is lightweight, weighing approximately 442g (15.5oz) and its compact case measures 27x12x4cm, making it easy to carry in a range bag.
It is sometimes a good measure to clean your barrel if the gun is new to remove oils from manufacturing. Unlike powder burns, you do not need to clean your barrel after every shot.
Airguns need to be leaded by shooting 500-1000 shots through before the lead starts to tighten up the barrels bore onto the pellets. If you have leaded your barrel (500-1000 shots) and have started to notice a spread issue, this is when you are most likely going to need to de-lead your barrel with the pull-through and start the leading process again.
